Be Still and Know that I AM GOD.

'Be still' is Rapha - the same word means 'heal', 'let go' 'relinquish' 'die'

'Know' is the same kind of 'know' concept that Mary used when talking about 'knowing not a man' ....an intimate marital, fully open, fully committed, experiential knowing.

This verse describes the way we can best know GOD and allow GOD to best heal us.

Thanks, Dale. Once again you go right to the 'heart' of finding the essence of ressurection life. Only as we let go and let God can it freely flow. Still areas I need to do that better but overall it's a glorious life.

Even though I have been a Christian for many years, and am fairly new in recovery, I still struggle with letting go and letting God. Especially now looking for employment. I have a Master's in Counseling and am seeking employment only to hit barrier's and walls. It gets frustrating to finally be recovered and life situations falling into place as I want. It is a daily routine to try to hand it over and not let the old character defects of wanting to control. I will always need God to guide me.
