I can hardly wait to read the ones that follow. As a child I also lived with so much fear, growing up in an alcoholic/dysfunctional environment. My defense and flesh pattern that developed in order to survive was to live quiet, don't bother anyone, and pretend that everything was "happy" and all was "good." As a child I also lived with so much fear, growing up in an alcoholic/dysfunctional environment. My defense and flesh pattern that developed in order to survive was to live quiet, don’t bother anyone, and pretend that everything was “happy” and all was “good.” We were a close-knit family and happy. Hogwash!
