I have been asked to address my fellow pastors at a clergy's conference on the subject of the Pitfalls in ministry....and after reading this article this morning, I have come to realize that despite the many hours of preparation for this talk....I have missed the heart of the mattter. It is so clear to me that this article gets to the real heart of what I feel need to be be grasped if we are to be of help not only one another but also our congregations. With your permission I would like to make our denominational leadership aware of your minsitry to pastors and their congregations and I would like to know if you have representatives of your very needed ministry in SA. Also, with your permission, I would so much like to share with them, next week!!, in summary what you have said here: My brother, you have great gift in the way you put things and I would not like to miss the essense of what you have covered in this article; so if you have a summarized version of what you have said here that will be a massive help. If I can become somehow part of this very needy minsitry I am more than eager to learn....because what I need to say to my fellow pastors I first have to say to myself.
