I've enjoyed the writing on step 3. Mostly the part of surrendering to God. Self is the problem. Jesus came to replace the old nature we all struggle with- not to change it. It will always be like an enemy, but with surrender to God we choose to act in obedience to His will for us. And His will always beats my will. By living in the new nature that He gave us we find freedom from addiction. If any man be in Christ he is a new creation. Amen, Meka Repp

thanks and praises that we can share the words which speak such wisdom, to encourage and help us on the journey of recovery. May the Lord continue to bless the teachers of his word, which feels like life its self. I couldnt do this recovery from addiction, without all parts of na, the scripture studies and shares. I feel very blessed that I have found my higher power in Jesus, it really works for me, like medicine. I take in the living waters of the word , often throughout the day, the benefits are my cleantime,60 days, the revelation of my compulsive destructive behaviours, which admitting powerless over, then submitting to God, i believe we can conquer. My lord God is the potter, he will make something good from all of this. This is my testimony and I love my Lord my God,wonderful councellor, mighty God, prince of peace and everlasting father.Shalom

We used this page for our third step meeting with men from the mission shelter in Kansas City tonight. The Holy Spirit was strongly felt by all, especially during the last half of the meeting. What a joy it is to share such an experience with others. "Hope" is a gift that keeps on giving. Only the love of Jesus can produce such hope. Thank you for the elegant writing on the twelve steps.
