WOW!!!! This pretty much sums up my addictive personality I tried to work out through religious addiction-for a couple decades now. :?
"We can stop trying to manage how other people perceive us."

Ugh perfectionism chokes the very lifeblood out of you......
Thank God for setting us on the road to freedom!

What amazing writings on every one of the twelve steps. I have utilized these writings in all my groups; from AA to my Alcoholics Victorious meetings. I've shared them with all my sponcees as well during our step meetings. They are so helpful and I thank you for making them available. I've shared this websight with many friends in recovery. What a blessing it is.

Awesome, what away to get out of bondage, to completely turn things over, is to free oneself. The inner workings of this step is just amazing, and the way you explain it, keeps it simple, more importantly it gets us closer to God, who is the foundation of our program.
I will share this information with my addiction class. Thank you ever so much!
