wow. finally heard a christian speak about this. thanks
i've struggled with this for several years inside sa.

i always wanted a church that would speak about this but never found one. we are too perfect as christians to think that the girl in the row in front of us at church would be great to sleep with. i would not be allowed alone with anyone in my church if i went to the pastor and said hey guess who is a sexaholic?
besides if i had enough faith it would go away.. LOL.

one day we will be free to discuss this in church but i'm will be dead by then from old age.

if you suffer go to sa.org and look for a group near you, get a sponsor who has something you want (not one you can relate to) and work the program, ie. the 12 steps. it will work if you work it.

This article is so true. Feeling passion is invigorating.
My problem was that it felt so good, I didn't want to let
it go. But as soon as I asked God to help me and take it
away, He did. God is not going to override our free will.

“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”

Everything you know is based on what has already happened in your life. And yet, your only influence right now is over things that have not yet happened. The things that have already happened have gotten you to where you are right now. What you need to be concerned with, however, is where to go from here. Because you're so intimately familiar with your own past, it may seem that you have no choice but to continue moving in the same direction as before. But that is not true. Your future does not equal your past. Right now, there are an infinite number of paths which you can take. The one you're currently on is only one of them. Any of the rest are available to you. If you're completely satisfied with where you're going, then by all means keep on going that way. But there is no reason in the world why you have to keep following that same path if it is not bringing you full and lasting fulfillment. Every moment you have a choice, regardless of what has happened before. Choose right now to move forward, positively and confidently into your incredible future.

-Author Unknown

In your darkest hour, when you're at your lowest, remember to look for the light. Pay attention to what else is going on around you. Life is awaiting your return. Life is good, if you make it that way. We are all what we think about. Change your dark thoughts to light and a new you will emerge.

-Marion Licchiello

The reality of life is that your perceptions right or wrong influence everything else you do. When you get a proper perspective of your perceptions, you may be surprised how many other things fall into place.

-Roger Birkman

Everyday is a life, being born in daybreak and dying when you go to sleep. Live every day as amazingly as possible. Learn what you can and make it worth something. For once you go to sleep, that day has died; it will never happen again, only to be remembered or forgotten.

I am never so strong as when I have nothing left but God to strenghen me. All else has failed! Why do I give power over my Life to that which is only flesh? Let go and let God...but yes, take His yoke upon you and accept God's will for our lives. And at first it does feel like death!

I'm so happy to have heard and read this article! It makes me believe that there really is a way to get past this. I'm seventeen; I'm too young to be dealing in this drama with lust and what not, but it's now that it attacks us. I know I'm suffering through this addiction, but now I know that if I just give it to God that he will help me through the steps to recovery so that I may live the happy life he has set forth for me.
Thank you.
