Joined HOW OA and my life is changing dramatically. Sober for 13.5 years but going completely bonkers. Food addiction is crazy making.

Working the steps one day at a time and abstaining from sugar, flour. God is working in my life and doing for me what I couldn't do for myself.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Nerissa! I needed to hear that. I'm 32, have an addiction and am co-dependent, and am struggling to maintain a career. The frustration is I once had a close relationship with God. It's very good to know it's possible to work through... eventually I would like to have a husband and child too, but as yet don't believe it... I need the will-power and discipline to work through many many unhelpful beliefs....

But thank you for the encouragement!
